Everyday, I have been seeing people suffering from breast implants problem. And there are 2 camps out there. The medical group said there is no direct proof or evidence of such implants have to do with breast cancer. The other side was complaining that those making the silicone gel implant irresponsible with what they put into the gel.
But one thing is certain, women around the world are suffering. Some are hiding in a closet crying alone. Some form a group to voice out and get the authority to work things out and bring those irresponsible to justice. Whatever the case, breast implants cause more harm than anything you will gain.
Here is a highlight of one of the patient who had done the breast implants and was suffering hell from it. This is a real story and not a fabrication. Her name is Tracey Nesbitt and she lives in Australia.
She has 4 children and after the last, she wanted to do something for herself, something that she had planned to do for some time. So, she went to do the breast implants in 2006 with a whopping fee of AUD$14,000 . Everything seems to be rosy at the beginning until 6 years later.
On the 6th year, something happened and she suffered the painful surgery to get the breast implants removed due to rupture. She is still waiting for her test report while recovering at home. The Therapeutic Goods Administration say,
“there are 134 confirmed reports of rupture of Poly Implant Prothese implants.”
In Australia, there are already many cases of implant’s defects like what was report at Faulty breast implants post earlier week. And many women already paid a big price for this faulty implants issue.
Tracey described her early decision about the surgery and she was not thinking about the consequences and impacts of it. Now, she voices out her experience and persuade women against the idea of getting breast implants.
She regretted her early action, and said,
“There is no way I would let my vanity take over and get implants if I could go back,”
“When I had these done, I was told they were new and safe, I was told they were fantastic, but nothing is safe.”
“I heard about the problems with the implants and thought that it couldn’t be me, and it was a couple of months before I went to my doctor.”
Tracey would have to go through the surgery to remove of the implants which cost her another hefty cost of AUD$5500 and she will lose her lymph nodes as well.
She told about her financial situation and would need to get a loan to fund this operation. She as well as recent few have got themselves registered to start an action that would seek justice for those who had been affected by the ruptured implants.
She plans to get those who are responsible for this PIP scandal to pay for it.
